The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Keeping faith simple
The LORD confides in those who fear him, he makes his covenant known to them.
Faith is not a secret
And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…
Deliverance comes through endurance
…if we endure, we will also reign with him…
God’s work in changing lives
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Our spirits blossom when we sing
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Lose the fear of dying
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Life sentence
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me— the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
