Central Africa, a region of vibrant cultures and resilient people, faces profound challenges. In the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Cameroon, millions endure conflict, instability, and persecution. Islamic militias like ADF-NALU in the DRC, ex-Séléka in CAR, and Boko Haram in Cameroon target Christians, burning churches, abducting leaders, and displacing communities. Corruption cripples governance, with the DRC ranking 169th and CAR 140th on the 2023 Corruption Index, while Cameroon’s Anglophone crisis fuels unrest. Converts from Islam face violent rejection. Yet, the Church radiates hope: 93,396,000 Christians in the DRC, 62% of Cameroon’s population, and CAR’s Catholic sanctuaries stand firm. Pray for protection, justice, and peace.
