In Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Comoros, Mozambique, and Sudan, believers endure relentless persecution. Somalia’s Al-Shabaab executes converts instantly, while Eritrea’s regime jails Christians in brutal conditions. Mozambique’s jihadists raze churches in Cabo Delgado, and Sudan’s military clashes with RSF militias destroy Christian sanctuaries. Comoros’ laws criminalize public worship, and Ethiopia’s ethnic conflicts threaten believers. Ongoing instability and weak governance displace millions, amplifying fear. Yet, the Church radiates hope: Ethiopia’s 60% Christian population grows, Sudan’s 2,013,000 believers persevere, and Mozambique’s evangelists press forward.
