Latest Prayer Opportunities
- Pray for the safety of those still in the hands of the kidnappers, so be safe and healthy, and that they will be released very soon.
- Pray for teachers and students affected by the armed assault on Government Day Secondary School in the town of Lassa, Askira-Uba Local Government Area (LGA). Also for the healing of the people who were rescued.
- Pray for the families whose loved ones are kidnapped that Holy Spirit will give them comfort and wisdom, and a biblical response.
- Pray that the government will make wise decisions and that the kidnappers will come to faith in Jesus.
- Pray for an end to terrorist attacks – That the violence in the Sahel, Lake Chad Basin, Horn of Africa, Great Lakes and northern Mozambique would cease, and civilian lives would be protected.
- Pray for effective action – That African governments and the African Union would implement strong, lawful measures to cut off funding, weapons and safe havens for terrorist groups.
- Pray for women and youth – That they would be protected from radicalisation and empowered as agents of change through education, opportunity and hope.
- Pray for lasting peace and justice – That the sources of terror financing and the misuse of technology would be stopped, and communities would be restored to safety.
